Russia - Puerto Rico Relations

Since the closure of the Honorary Consul program in Puerto Rico in January 2016, any official communications are handled from the Embassy of Russian Federation in Washington, DC.  Below is a listing of some past Russia-related events that have taken place in San Juan.

Anastasia Pavlovna Kitsul has been the Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Puerto Rico for the duration of the program, from September of 2003 until January 2016 and remains a distinguished member of the San Juan community. Ms. Kitsul's professional experience includes brand management at Procter & Gamble as well as management consulting for Fortune 500, medium-size, and start-up businesses. Ms. Kitsul, who began her academic career at Moscow State University in Russia, holds an MBA in Strategy from the Yale School of Management, a B.A. in Spanish and International Management from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, and has studied at Kansai Gaidai University, Osaka, Japan. Ms. Kitsul has published articles in Russia, U.S., Japan and U.K. and managed public relations campaigns in the U.S. and internationally.
